The Arisons offer a range of silicone sponge profiles in a variety of shapes, sizes and densities. These products offer the same physical characteristics and properties as the solid silicone rubber alternatives but in a sponge format. We are able to produce almost all of our solid silicone range in a sponge format.
REQUEST A QUOTESilicone seals are soft, compressible seals widely used to prevent water ingress. They can be supplied in linear lengths or formed into O‑rings with high‑grade silicone sealant to meet different project requirements. Made from closed‑cell sponge material, these seals do not absorb water, ensuring reliable watertight performance on hatches, cabinets and various enclosures. Expanded silicone is slightly firmer than expanded neoprene, yet it should only be compressed by around 30% to avoid compression set from over‑squeezing.
Featuring an exceptional operating temperature range from -60°C to +200°C, silicone sponge cord is especially popular in high‑ and low‑temperature applications within the medical and pharmaceutical industries. Compared with solid silicone, silicone sponge provides superior flexibility and compressibility, making it ideal for sealing tasks. Its ability to deform under pressure to create a tight seal and recover its original shape afterward delivers consistent, long‑lasting sealing performance across demanding environments.
Certification and Specifications
All concrete pipe gaskets must meet certain classes of ASTM C1619, depending on the specifications for a project. Generally, sanitary projects will require C1619 Class A (standard rubber) or B (oil-resistant rubber) and stormwater projects will reference C1619 Class C (standard) or D (oil-resistant).
Our factory has been ISO 9001 certified since 2005. In subsequent years, we have successively obtained ISO 14001, CE, EN 681 and SGS certifications, as well as other internationally recognized qualifications.
